Its Just a Ticket

Had a client a few weeks ago who had been arrested for DWLS orDriving While License Suspended.
His license was suspended when he failed to pay a speeding ticket. Probably would have cost a couple of hundred dollars and maybe even reduced to no points or even reporting the offense to the SOS.

He threw it into a drawer and let it sit. He now faces a charge of driving on a suspended license and faces major legal fees and costs associated with the offense. All because he didn't want to pay the initial $200 or so when he should have.

Even if he had hired an attorney and paid the attorney to cut a deal, it still would have been cheaper in the long rung. None of us want to part with our money, but usually you get what you pay for.
